Unix Tips -1
I saw that while installing Oracle most people create oracle user
by the following command:
/usr/sbin/useradd -u 200 -g oinstall -G dba oracle
but as that doesn't create the home directory for
the user they get confused ... sometime they drop
the user then recreate via tools like SAM etc...
Here is the easier option:
usermod -d /home/oracle oracle
</home/oracle> could be replaced by any path for the home of that user.
