Enterprise Manager --1

For each databse, if you have more than one running on the same server, need to export the ORACLE_SID

This is for SID=sdtdb1

=>emctl status dbconsole
Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Database Control Release 11.1.0.6.0
Copyright (c) 1996, 2007 Oracle Corporation.  All rights reserved.
https://myserver129.ind.hp.com:5500/em/console/aboutApplication
Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g is not running.

Then start it:


=>emctl start dbconsole
Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Database Control Release 11.1.0.6.0
Copyright (c) 1996, 2007 Oracle Corporation.  All rights reserved.
https://myserver.ind.hp.com:5500/em/console/aboutApplication

Now

=>echo $ORACLE_SID
sdtdb1
Change the SID:

=>export ORACLE_SID=dssdb1
=>emctl status dbconsole
Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Database Control Release 11.1.0.6.0
Copyright (c) 1996, 2007 Oracle Corporation.  All rights reserved.
https://myserver.ind.hp.com:1158/em/console/aboutApplication
Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g is not running.

 

See the ports are different!!!

 

=>emctl start dbconsole
